Level 2 MT & PT Technician (EN4179) – £40k OTE + Company Bonus + Enhanced Company Benefits – Stansted, Essex

We’re keen to employ a keen individual who can process a variety of aerospace and defence components in our on-site workshop, and someone who’s also interested in training in additional methods – such as eddy current and ultrasonics – in support of the company’s wider operations in on-wing inspection in the future.

To be considered for the role, you should possess the following experience:

• Possess experience and qualification to Level 2 MT and PT, working in accordance with EN 4179
• Possess experience of working in time critical environments and to tight deadlines
• Experience of working in a Part 145 organisation would be beneficial, although not essential to be considered for the role
• Keen to develop NDT experience into more complex methods, such as ET and UT

We have a well-established team at our Stansted site, with an array of customers we look after, and therefore plenty of variety in our projects in the workshop. Outside of the workshop, we’re fortunate to work with an established base of commercial airlines and defence contracts, meaning the opportunities to travel (near and far) are endless at Morgan Ward NDT. Our technicians have periods of working away from home, so we ask that anyone interested in applying is willing to do the same to be a true team player; unsociable hours are the nature of the beast in this field, so you’ll also be expected to work some weekends and night shift, too, if your future is to develop with us in an on-wing capacity. Due to some of the nature of some of our work, and the need for you to potentially work airside, we ask that you have the right to work in the UK, with no restrictions on your ability to travel.

Morgan Ward offer structured career progression, along with unrivalled in-house support and endless opportunities to get in the thick of some incredible projects. Your initial role will be based at our workshop, 40 hours per week, where you can achieve an OTE of £40k with any additional overtime included. Once you are experienced and fully-qualified to work on-wing, a very realistic OTE of £60k-£65k is on the table, along with use of a company vehicle at each site (when available), and a variable discretionary company bonus hits your bank account at the end of the year, too, as well as other enhanced company benefits.
