Are you looking for a new challenge in an aerospace engineering business? Interested in joining a small, friendly NDT team?
An established and well-regarded aerospace engineering business is recruiting for an experienced Level 2 Mag and Pen Technician to join its West Midlands based facility. Working with some of the most recognised aerospace OEM’s, our client offers the opportunity for an experienced aerospace Level 2 to undertake a busy, hands-on role and work within a small but well-experienced NDT team. You’ll inspect small machined components and will also be involved with new parts, so must have the confidence and ability to write technique cards, too.
The person:
- an NDT Technician with a strong background in aerospace MPI and FPI and confidence in their ability work independently
- Must have worked in accordance with EN4179 L2 MT & PT (water washable)
- Must have experience working in a NADCAP NDT environment, ideally with experience of working with aerospace Primes (RR)
This is an exciting opportunity to join a business with a brimming orderbook and plentiful work, attracting an hourly rate of £16.89p/hour, based on a 36-hour week, Mon – Thursday, with opportunities for overtime, paid at time and a half.
