Currently, the company has capability of VT, MT, PT, and UT, and is interested in further expanding its remit to ET, too; it should be noted, however, that there is very a small percentage of inspection duties required in this role (around 10% of the job), and the central focus is on quality assurance, auditing, compliance, and technical development.

- Proven experience of working at team leader / supervisor / manager level within NDT operations
- Thorough knowledge of the requirements of ISO 9712 (PCN) and relevant BS EN / ISO standards
- Experience of working in quality assurance / quality focused tasks within NDT with proven experience of external audits

- Motivated and confident leader of people with plenty of drive and enthusiasm to go around!
Ideal skills / knowledge / experience
- Experience of working in accordance with PCN L2 ET would be useful for future development plans
- Ideally hold a L3 in one or more of the methods mentioned would be useful, but not a pre-requisite of being considered for the role
- Experience of working within railway or structural sectors (e.g. BS EN 15085, RIS-2701) is desirable
The working hours are Mon-Thursday 7-3.30pm and Friday 7-12pm, and the role attracts a salary of £60k, offers 25 days holiday + stats, offers 4% matched pension contribution, a death in service benefit of 3x annual salary, and training and development opportunities, including support for L3 / welding qualifications.
This is the ideal role for someone who has spent time working within QA and wants to pursue a career with a business willing to personally invest in them, with clear pathways for career progression.
