From selling consumables and equipment, through to providing inspection services, consultancy support, and facilitating examinations, our client really is a leader on all levels of its expertise, with a desire to grow bigger and better and build on its already thriving customer base.
Continually striving for growth and expansion, our client seeks an NDT Salesperson to join their family-owned company on a permanent basis. With a vision to drive growth across all avenues of its services, we’re looking for a tenacious individual to work closely with the technical team to identify key areas of growth, and focus on proactively generating new prospects and leading sales across the UK.
As the company’s NDT Technical Sales Specialist, you’ll be selling the company’s range of consumables, inspection services, and Level 3, examination and certification services, as well as supporting business development and sales of new product lines. Your role offers a blended style of working and an immersive approach to all aspects of sales, business development, and customer service. Working in a hybrid role, the position encourages plenty of interaction with customers to become the ‘face’ of the business for the three days a week you’ll be on the road, while the other couple of days a week you’ll be at home (or visiting the office) offers you a chance to find your bearings, catch-up on paperwork, and interact with the technical bods in the company to discuss leads and potential prospects.

We’re interested in speaking to people with the following attributes/experience:
- Can-do attitude, with an industrious approach to sales, and comfortable to work in a hybrid role, both on the road and working from home.
- Ability to harness technical knowledge in a ‘grounded’ way with customers.
- Either previous sales or applications experience in an NDT-related company
- OR someone who has worked in the field of NDT as an inspector / technician and is interested in forging a career in sales.
- Genuinely motivated by the thrill of new sales and achieving targets
- Able to manage your time effectively to strike a balance of life on the road and working from home
- Confident, with great communication skills.
- A qualification to Level 3 in any method would be useful to appreciate some aspects of this role
This is an exciting and personally rewarding position, designed for someone to manage their sales schedule autonomously, but with the full support of an experienced technical team that’s got your back. Ideally, the person will be located in the Midlands region, although we will consider applications from people based anywhere in the UK as the scope for sales extends nationwide. The package includes a salary of between £48k-£55k (depending on individual experience), a company bonus, enhanced holiday entitlement which increases on a year-on-year basis up to five years, and a company vehicle will also be provided.
